Below we share WooCommerce code snippets prepared for WordPress users and developers. Add the code to your theme’s (preferably a child theme’s) functions.php file or to a code snippet plugin such as WPCode. Take a backup before adding it to a live site and test the code in a staging environment.

Add a custom currency to WooCommerce

To add a custom currency, replace the ABC code, the currency name and symbol in the code below with your own currency. After saving, the new currency becomes selectable under WooCommerce > Settings > General.

Hide other shipping methods when free shipping is available

Automatically making free shipping the only option when it’s available improves the user experience; customers won’t accidentally choose a paid method. The code below keeps the local pickup option.
